Position Overview

Coastline Autos is seeking an experienced Car Sales & Finance Manager who can close deals, structure loans, and submit applications to lenders through RouteOne, Westlake, CPS, CIG, Global Lending, and all other partners. You'll handle the full sales process from lead → test drive → lender submission → contracting → funding.

We need someone who can get deals approved, maximize backend profit, and move inventory quickly.

Responsibilities

Sales / Customer Handling

  • Meet customers on the lot, understand their needs, and match them to the right vehicle.
  • Run soft pulls / pre-screens, show payments, build trust, and close deals fast.
  • Follow up with leads (Facebook, Marketplace, walk-ins, referrals).
  • Take photos, post cars online, and keep listings updated.

Finance / Lender Coordination

  • Submit applications through RouteOne or lender portals.
  • Collect all required stips: ID, full coverage insurance, proof of income, proof of residence, references, etc.
  • Understand lender requirements, advance guidelines, and structuring deals to get approvals.
  • Build payment plans, explain terms, and walk customers through contracts.
  • Verify documents, match customer info, prevent chargebacks and unwinds.
  • Secure fast funding by communicating with underwriters.

Deal Paperwork & Compliance

  • Create contracts correctly the first time (Buyer's Guide, Bill of Sale, Retail Installment Contract, Warranty Disclosures).
  • Upload all required funding docs.
  • Ensure the deal jacket is clean and complete.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lenders.

Requirements

  • MUST have dealership experience in sales, finance, or both.
  • MUST know how to use RouteOne (or Dealertrack equivalent).
  • Ability to structure deals for low credit, first-time buyers, subprime, and income-based customers.
  • Strong people skills and confidence closing deals.
  • Must know how to read stips and spot fraudulent documents.
  • Must be organized and able to move fast in a high-volume environment.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish/Vietnamese) is a plus but not required.
