Plant Accountant / Yield Analyst (On-Site – Tulsa, OK)

6-Month Contract | Full-Time On-Site | $30–$33/hr

We're partnering with a leading energy and refining organization in Tulsa, OK, seeking a
Plant Accountant / Yield Analyst
to join their on-site finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong accounting fundamentals who enjoy working closely with operations to ensure accurate product tracking, reconciliation, and reporting within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile plant receipts, shipments, and transfers across multiple facilities
  • Perform monthly volumetric reconciliations and handle month-end close processes, including journal entries and variance analysis
  • Manage EIA (Energy Information Administration) weekly, monthly, and annual reporting
  • Post and verify product movement data in SAP, resolving discrepancies and ensuring system accuracy
  • Partner with operations and A/R teams to analyze gains, losses, and billing accuracy
  • Assist with cost accounting duties and support ad-hoc financial reporting needs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing, energy, or industrial environment preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
  • Experience using SAP to record and reconcile financial data
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (experience considered in lieu of degree)
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
