The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team in a variety of ways. This position will handle many of the day-to-day administrative tasks for these areas and will also assist with special projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Human Resources Business Partners and leadership with investigation (review, copy, note taking, scanning, setting up meetings).
  • Own the entirety of the unemployment claim process, responding to claim requests and attending unemployment hearings.
  • As an employee advocate, ensure acknowledgement of employee questions/concerns and work closely with HR team for resolution.
  • Support the Disciplinary process tracking and uploading documentation for the HRBPs.
  • Support retail stores and other business areas as needed in basic employee relation issues.
  • Follow-up when needed with payroll inquiries, employee questions, etc. to ensure employee questions/situations are resolved and communicate updates when needed.
  • Act as back-up to our front desk reception associate, covering breaks twice a day and occasional full day coverage when necessary.
  • Answer switchboard
  • Greet visitors
  • Direct questions to appropriate resources
  • Work with HR Records to ensure files are complete for audit purposes
  • Maintain, track and follow-up on Company Training initiatives.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of programs and solutions to improve performance and processes.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, charts, reports and other types of communications
  • Administer web-based and in-person training.
  • Coordinate and plan special events such as Employee BBQ, Summer of a Million Smiles initiatives, vaccination clinics, and other engagement activities.
  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including scheduling meals/snacks and other logistics.
  • Coordinate office communication such as bulletin boards and items for the TV monitors.
  • Maintain employee records and perform general administrative functions (HRBP support, copying/filing as needed).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • College degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ years administration experience with customer service, confidential records, data entry, and reporting/analytics.
  • 6 months + of HR support experience desired.
  • Teamwork-oriented, dedicated to support the team
  • Ability to work within a collaborative and ambiguous environment
  • Strong business acumen combined with impeccable business judgment and the ability to communicate with various levels of a management team.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the maturity to quickly establish credibility and respect with a
  • broad range of diverse business partners.
  • Be extremely focused and driven on learning and growth
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data
  • Result-oriented, with demonstrated experience of balancing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Experience with recruiting and interviewing a plus
  • Demonstrated time-management and multi-tasking skills.
