Willow Health Care, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll Specialist to manage the core financial transactions for our skilled nursing facility in [City, MO]. The Role: A Triple Threat in Finance

You will be responsible for a critical blend of financial functions, ensuring the smooth flow of funds both into and out of the facility, and ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and assist with collections in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Stay updated on Medicaid regulations and requirements to ensure accurate billing and collections.

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation, authorization, and General Ledger coding.
  • Prepare and process bi-weekly check runs .
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and files.

Payroll:

  • Process and manage the full-cycle payroll for all facility employees (bi-weekly), ensuring accuracy of hours, deductions, and pay rates.
  • Review and verify timekeeping records and manager-approved time edits for compliance.
  • Process new hires, terminations, and changes in employee pay and status.
  • Provide assistance to employees with payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate payroll files and records for auditing purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, preferably in a combined Specialist or Bookkeeper role.
  • Prior experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or other healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (experience with healthcare-specific billing/AR/AP/Payroll systems a plus).
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
