Our patients have access to ground-breaking therapies, in a community setting, and may participate in national clinical research studies of drugs and treatment protocols. In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval.Through our partnership with Sarah Cannon, we are one of the largest clinical research organizations in the United States. Often, FCS leads the nation in initiating research studies and offering ground-breaking new therapies to patients.Come join us todayRESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for monitoring and collecting the financial responsibilities of our patients. The Patient Financial Navigator must keep patients’ insurance benefits up to date in OncoEMR and Centricity and view the patients’ services for diagnosis and insurance coverage appropriateness. Also performs the daily tasks of Managed Care and Patient Financial Navigator QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED.Experience working in a healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting or business office is required. Excellent verbal and communication skills needed.Insurance knowledge requirements including: Understanding of medical terminologyManaged care authorization processICD10 codesCollection experienceAbility to calculate and collect patients’ responsibility and insurance co-pay/coinsuranceRemote: NONormal Business Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm#LI-AH1 #FCS-REVSCREENINGS – Background, drug, and nicotine screensSafeguarding our patients and each other is an important part of how we deliver the best care possible to the communities we serve.
