Summary

The Production Coordinator plays a critical role in guiding borrowers through the loan process from proposal acceptance to file submission. This client-facing position requires a highly organized, proactive individual committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring timely, compliant loan submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between borrowers, loan originators, and the processing team to facilitate smooth loan progression.

  • Serve as the central point of knowledge for borrowers and loan originators during the transition from loan acceptance to submission.

  • Assist loan originators in gathering, organizing, and reviewing all required documentation.

  • Perform initial file review, including pulling credit (if applicable), ordering background checks, and conducting upfront due diligence.

  • Provide timely updates to borrowers and loan originators on outstanding items needed for submission.

  • Establish and communicate clear loan timelines from acceptance to targeted closing dates.

  • Deliver a first-class customer experience by maintaining proactive and professional communication with clients.

  • Review incoming loan documents for completeness and compliance before submission to processing (IIR completion).

  • Track and manage all documents, including follow-up on trailing items.

  • Work in coordination with loan processors to ensure files are complete, accw·ate, and prepared for underwriting.

  • Set borrower expectations for communication methods, timing, and documentation needs throughout the process.

  • Monitor and report loan pipeline status and escalate issues as needed to meet closing deadlines.

  • Use of Monday other CRM to remain organized and proactive.
