Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Team Member to join our trustworthy and reliable team at I-CE-NY El Paso. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience watching their ice creams get made and served to them.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests and taking orders.
  • Assist in food preparation and ensure high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Operate our Square POS system for order processing and payment handling.
  • Provide detailed explanations of our menus to guests.
  • Up-sell other items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including cleaning tables and managing waste.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Collaborate with team members to accurately complete and delivery orders.
  • Complete opening and closing duties to ensure a clean and organized business environment.
  • Report inventory to management for restocking.
  • Ensure restroom is cleaned and stocked for guest use.
  • Clean glass and walls to ensure sanitary guest environment.
  • Wash dishes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Good customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented setting.
  • Eagerness to take a leadership role.
  • A drive to keep work space clean and organized.
  • Reliability.

Base pay starts at $9/hr + tips (Average ~$13/hr)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 18 per week
