The Impact You'll Make in this Role

  • Coordinate between the various business, technical and professional services functions to ensure a robust and comprehensive value stream is maintained for a successful supply chain experience.
  • Identify and lead cost reduction projects, requiring cross functional teamwork and global manufacturing site collaboration.
  • Identify, justify and implement new process technologies for new and existing products to improve process capability, improve the value stream and reduce total cost.
  • Own assigned commercialized product value streams, anticipate and address cost/quality/service issues and manage to global performance targets.
  • Be willing to travel to address urgent manufacturing issues and experiment coverage.
  • Represent manufacturing on capital projects for new and existing equipment to support development and manufacturing requirements.
  • Lead process development and process validation for new products. Develop cost estimates and manufacturing plans.
  • Provide support and leadership direction for both Tier I and II suppliers for outsourced / contract manufacturing.

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) AND two (2) years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment

    OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND six (6) years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Experience in the Drinking Water industry

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in chemical, or mechanical engineering, and/or physical sciences from an accredited university.
  • Experience with good manufacturing practices (GMP) manufacturing and process validation.
  • Project leadership experience.
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing.
  • Experience working with Tier I and II suppliers in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and statistical capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to develop and foster a network across various functions.

Work location:

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work; may require onsite work in various locations Minnesota)

Travel: May include up to 35% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 - $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
