A day in the shop

Step onto the production floor of our steel manufacturing facility in Tampa, FL, and take ownership of a CNC and roll-forming cell that turns raw coil and stock into precise components for steel deck and related accessories. You'll set up equipment, run programs, and keep everything dialed-in so every panel and part meets the mark.

What you'll do
  • Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machinery to manufacture steel parts with tight tolerances.
  • Run roll formers to shape steel panels for decking applications.
  • Continuously watch machine performance and product flow to maintain quality and throughput.
  • Handle routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Measure and inspect finished pieces, confirming accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Work closely with teammates to refine setups and streamline production processes.
  • Keep the area clean, orderly, and compliant with safety procedures.
  • Record production metrics and promptly communicate issues to supervisors.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining coursework or certifications are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience as a CNC Machine Operator or in a closely related role.
  • Solid grasp of CNC machinery and programming concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving instincts.
  • Comfort working independently and collaborating with a production team.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
