Maintenance / Handyman

Celtic Group have 3 self-storage facilities and several rental properties

We are looking for someone to maintain those properties and be responsible for the maintenance with the tenants along with newly built home warranty work with homeowners

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • General clean up of trash / debris / cobwebs
  • Power wash of buildings / sidewalks / parking lots
  • Complete unit move outs
  • Drywall touch ups to painting
  • Replace blinds / holders / light bulbs / toilet seats / fixtures
  • Remove carpet and prep for replacement as needed
  • Anything that needs to be done for the next tenant
  • Installation of new plumbing (sinks, faucets, toilets) and electrical fixtures (switch, switch-plate, light bulbs) and appliances.
  • Plumbing maintenance included: Water leak location, p-trap maintenance, replacing angle stops, Etc.
  • Carpentry work includes: Door/doorjamb replacement, cabinet box & door replacement, door shims, trim replacement, Etc.
  • Perform and / or coordinate emergency building repairs using current vendors
  • Performing tenant maintenance work orders
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance schedule and tasks
  • Communicate promptly and effectively with Managers and Owners
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property managers
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

  • Ability to self-perform all tasks (this is a hands-on position)
  • Ability to travel on a given day and often on short notice
  • Travel to: Carlton / Dallas / NE & SE Salem / Turner / Junction City
  • Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
  • Working knowledge of construction-related repairs
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to lift at least 70 pounds
  • Ability to pass a drug screen / physical

Benefits:

$20 - $23 / DOE

Work vehicle (kept at shop - nights & weekends)

After probationary period: Health Insurance / Paid Holidays / Paid Time Off

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
