Position Overview: Junior Associate Account Manager

This full-time, in-person apprenticeship is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for digital strategy and emerging technologies. In this hybrid role, you'll gain experience in both search engine optimization (SEO) and artificial intelligence (AI) workflows. You'll work alongside our SEO strategists to build revenue-driving organic strategies and support our AI team in building custom GPTs and process automation tools.

Responsibilities
SEO Support
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover high-impact organic opportunities.
  • Assist in developing SEO strategies that drive measurable traffic and conversions.
  • Support on-page optimizations and technical audits.
  • Track, analyze, and report on keyword performance and organic growth metrics.
  • Collaborate with content and UX teams to implement SEO best practices.

AI & Workflow Innovation
  • Work with our AI team to develop and fine-tune custom GPT models.
  • Identify opportunities to automate internal workflows and client deliverables using AI tools.
  • Contribute to building and refining prompt libraries, templates, and training documentation.
  • Participate in experimentation and optimization of AI-driven processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and tools in AI, helping Marketwake stay ahead of the curve.

Professional & Cross-Functional Development
  • Take initiative and ownership of tasks, ensuring timely, high-quality execution.
  • Collaborate across teams including content, development, paid media, and strategy.
  • Engage in regular learning through certifications, readings, and training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and visibility.


Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Natural curiosity around AI tools, SEO, and how emerging tech can drive growth.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to problem-solve.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to learning and feedback.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar platforms is a plus.
