Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) to conduct psychological and ADHD evaluations on a flexible, contract basis. This position is ideal for psychologists who value autonomy, clinical excellence, and work-life balance within a supportive and collaborative practice environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological and ADHD assessments for clients across the lifespan.
  • Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of standardized instruments (e.g., WAIS-IV, WISC-V, MMPI-3, Conners, BASC-3, WIAT, etc.).
  • Integrate assessment data into comprehensive, clinically meaningful reports with diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
  • Provide clear and compassionate feedback sessions to clients and families.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with Virginia Board of Psychology standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia (required).
  • Experience in conducting neuropsychological evaluation for ADHD, autism , dementia and personality disorders
  • Strong written, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication with the practice team.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in private practice or outpatient assessment settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Training or experience in learning disorder and/or neuropsychological testing.
