Job Description Centra Medical Group-Nationwide is currently searching for an experienced Licensed Mental Health Professional. CMG-Nationwide is a primary care center located in Lynchburg, VA. This provider is open 5 days a week, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Centra Medical Group is committed to providing advanced and personalized care to patients through its team of caregivers. Their services include managing health records online, facilitating lab orders by appointment and walk-ins, and offering various health management resources to help patients establish a health baseline and achieve wellness goals. The center emphasizes the importance of personal health management and is dedicated to enhancing community health and wellbeing. They also provide health education through various programs and initiatives, ensuring that patients remain informed and supported in their healthcare journeys Job Summary- The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides therapeutic services to individuals of varying ages in a variety of clinical or educational settings. The Licensed Mental Health Professional functions autonomously and works well within multidisciplinary teams. Provides comprehensive care including assessment, consultation, treatment planning, counseling, education, referral and discharge planning. The Licensed Mental Health Professional is a leader within the therapeutic milieu or program setting. ResponsibilitiesConducts clinical assessments and consultations Assigns diagnoses as appropriate to clinical setting Provides billable services as appropriate Develops treatment plans Collaborates with multidisciplinary treatment teams to achieve patient/resident/client/student disposition Conducts individual, group and family therapy and interventions May provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff and student interns Performs risk assessments Provides patient education Functions autonomously within their respective scope of practice Effectively utilizes and documents in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Handles conflict resolution in an appropriate, timely and consistent manner Follows-up on risk management concerns within specified time frames Creates and maintains an environment that protects patients from harm Participates in service recovery and uses appropriate resources during complex situations. Handles conflict resolution in an appropriate, timely and consistent manner Identifies personal contributions to unit-based cascading goals Uses resources (time, people, supplies, etc.) cost effectively Other duties as assigned QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Required Education: Master's Degree in Human Services: Counseling, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing. Required Certifications and Licensures: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Management) certification within ninety (90) days of being hired into this role. Certified in CPR within thirty (30) days of hire. Current BLS within four (4) months of hire. Required Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with direct experience in mental health or education field.
