Senior Transportation Engineer
, you will complete a wide variety of complex engineering assignments, applying advanced techniques and analyses within your discipline. This position requires a fully qualified professional proficient in engineering theories and practices, including CAE (computer-aided engineering) and CAD (computer-aided design) applications. Travel or relocation to supplier, client, or construction site locations may be required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform complex engineering tasks and critical assignments efficiently and accurately.
- Extract engineering information from CAD drawings.
- Prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
- Complete a variety of deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
- Interface frequently with other engineering disciplines and departments.
- Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
- Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.
- Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers working on the same project.
- Provide the seal and signature of a professional engineer, as required, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
- Act in an advisory capacity to senior management on engineering-related matters.
- Perform other responsibilities as required by the position.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field).
- 8-10 years of related work experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration may be required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages commonly associated with engineering.

Salary Range: $86, $151,700.00
