What You'll Do
Purpose
Responsible for generating and expanding profitable sales in project business in a professional manner by planning, organizing, and executing projects on time while managing profitability and customer satisfaction

• Work with Quotation Specialist (Lighting and Gear) and Sales to understand requirements of the project to ensure the work proceeds on spec and facilitate smooth transition to customer.
• Manage orders from purchase order to final billing including drawings, expediting change orders, and billing resolution.
• Create and maintain assigned project orders in Eclipse.
• Create submittals and O&M's.
• Manage project purchase order process with vendors.
• Expedite all assigned project orders.
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of project to all stakeholders via project status reports and updates.
• Identify, analyze, and solve critical problems.
• Manage project budgets while ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and billing.
• Serve as information center for technical information and consult with sales team on proper application of products if applicable.
• Process all project change orders and customer returns on assigned projects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date job folders for all assigned projects.
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
• Perform all functions necessary to meet and exceed customer service standards.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of project management experience, preferably in construction, with electrical projects being a strong plus.
• PMP and/or CAPM certification preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Specific Qualifications

• A college degree and/or equivalent industry experience.
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat; experience with Parspec and ERP systems is a plus.
