​Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science - NDFS 100 Essentials of Human Nutrition (BYU Online)

Despite this being an 'online' position, the employee must still reside in Utah during the duration of their contract.

Position Start Date: January 2, 2025

Required Degree: Master's degree required. Either an undergraduate or a graduate degree must be in nutrition and/or dietetics.

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Experience: Online teaching experience preferred.

Duties/Expectations: 

  • Teach BYU Online Flex-GE section of NDFS 100: "Essentials of Human Nutrition" during Winter 2026.

  • Participate in an NDFS 100 Faculty training meeting at the beginning of January 2026.

  • Grade student assignments and manage correspondence with students throughout each semester.

Note: NDFS 100 Online Flex-GE is structured as a department course with standardized texts, assignments, learning activities, and exams. Adjunct Faculty are not expected to develop course materials.
