PM Field Technician

Description:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Preventative Maintenance Service Technician in the Midland/Odessa area to play a critical role in the preventative maintenance of all makes/models of commercial and industrial generators and mobile solar light towers.

Responsibilities:

· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance service on customer generators

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mobile solar light towers
  • Deliver and pick up mobile solar light towers
  • Provide on call services as required
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • May be required to perform administrative office duties

Requirements:

  • Experience doing preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial generators
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes drug test and MVR clearance
  • Strong written and verbal English skills required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Outlook email/calendars

Physical Demands:

Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work. Physical Activity: 85% physical activity required on customer site working with equipment, 15% form completion, email, other administrative tasks and completing technical support activities by way of telephone and computer communication.

  • May involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials pounds).
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Combination of climbing and balancing to include but not limited to climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective footwear as required.
  • Ability to perceive and discriminate sounds, depth, texture, and visual cues or signals.
  • May be required to work long and unpredictable hours.
