As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your routine patrols and visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communicate with the campus community. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor activity at the location and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in enforcing policies and procedures related to site access, visitor management, and other campus protocols.
• Collaborate with campus staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues and support a secure environment for students, faculty, and guests.
• Remain alert to surroundings and maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Complete incident reports and documentation as required according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
