Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Baltimore, MD (with multi-state travel)

Salary: $150,000 base + performance bonus

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operations for two key divisions within the Remington portfolio — a multi-state short-term rental property management company (Casago franchise network currently being acquired) and an established handyman services company based in Baltimore, MD.

This dual-role executive will bring structure, scalability, and accountability to both organizations, overseeing day-to-day execution while driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Casago Franchise Operations

  • Lead the integration of six franchise markets across three states into standardized systems.
  • Implement franchise best practices, KPI dashboards, and reporting tools for consistent performance.
  • Improve guest experience, owner satisfaction, and operational profitability across markets.
  • Partner with ownership and local GMs to execute expansion strategy and grow unit count.

Housewright Handyman Services

  • Oversee daily operations of the Baltimore-based handyman company, providing clear leadership and structure.
  • Execute a turnaround plan focusing on job costing, scheduling efficiency, and service profitability.
  • Build internal systems and team capacity to support sustained growth and alignment with the short-term rental business.
  • Establish SOPs, accountability metrics, and training to create operational consistency.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, hospitality, construction, or franchise environments.
  • Proven success overseeing multi-location or multi-state operations.
  • Strong financial management skills with a track record of improving margins and scaling systems.
  • Expertise in organizational development, process improvement, and people leadership.
  • Franchise or property management experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $150,000 + annual performance-based bonus.
