Job Summary
New England Mechanical Services is seeking a Project Sales Manager for our South Windsor Projects Group.
The primary responsibility of this position is to achieve annual sales quota by developing and selling project repair contracts to new and existing customers in assigned territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Calls on present and new customers, as well as company representatives, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial and industrial establishments and attempts to convince prospective clients of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.
- Arrange onsite meetings with customers to determine their needs and requirements by surveying equipment and facility.
- When necessary, review blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from clients' use of proposed equipment or services.
- Presents proposal and project specifications in a timely manner to current and potential customers and develop and grow long standing customer relationships.
- Provide technical services and expertise to current and future clients relating to repair, use, and operation of equipment.
- Work closely with Project group operations manager or General Contractor to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Project scheduling of deliveries, (materials and equipment) as well as required manpower to complete projects based on customers schedule.
- The completion and distribution of project startup forms for installation crews.
- Job forecasting and tracking for current and future projects.
Qualifications
The position requires an individual with a High School Diploma and or trade related technical schooling; 5-10 years of trade experience, strong communication and written skills; Commercial/industrial HVAC Systems and project blueprints and building code knowledge; The applicant should be versed in Microsoft Office Suite. The applicant must be available for after-hours and weekend communications with customers, installation staff, and management.
