Senior Data Architect (AI)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect (AI) with deep hands-on experience in GenAI, LLM systems, RAG architectures, cloud-native data engineering, and modern AI frameworks. This role will focus on designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI and data solutions at enterprise scale. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to deliver innovative and production-ready AI capabilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI & Data Engineering

  • Design and build advanced AI solutions using GenAI, LLMs, and agentic AI models.
  • Develop cloud-native data pipelines using Snowflake, Airflow, PySpark, and Vertex AI.
  • Implement RAG pipelines, multimodal data workflows, and vector database integrations.
  • Optimize AI/data systems for performance, reliability, scalability, and automation.

Innovation & Applied AI

  • Lead prototyping and PoC development for cutting-edge AI technologies.
  • Convert prototype AI models into scalable, production-grade systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate AI into business processes and applications.

Technical Leadership

  • Establish engineering best practices for AI, data, and cloud development.
  • Ensure governance, security, and compliance in all AI/data initiatives.
  • Mentor engineering teams on modern GenAI and data architecture principles.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Act as an AI advisor for business and technical leaders.
  • Lead internal training sessions to promote AI adoption.
  • Support enterprise involvement in AI-focused events and industry forums.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
  • Strong expertise in GenAI, LLMs, RAG frameworks, and vector databases.
  • Advanced skills in Python, SQL, PySpark, and data pipeline engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: GCP (Vertex AI), AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience building and deploying end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing agentic AI systems, AI copilots, or autonomous AI workflows.
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and microservice architecture.
  • Experience taking AI concepts from prototype to full production deployment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
