Position Summary

Under the direction of the manager, this role is responsible for delivering and servicing an assigned customer route for a laundry delivery service. The goal is to provide professional customer service, ensure accurate and timely delivery of laundry orders, maintain strong customer relationships, and comply with company standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery & Service
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver laundry orders to residential and commercial customers on assigned routes.
  • Ensure customers receive the correct items, in the proper condition, and on time.
  • Handle laundry items with care to prevent loss or damage.
  • Collect and properly document dirty laundry for pickup, ensuring accuracy in order tracking.
  • Customer Service
  • Provide professional, friendly, and reliable service at every customer interaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, special requests, and service updates.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and account growth.
  • Route & Operations
  • Plan and execute daily delivery routes efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with DOT and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, payments, and route settlements.
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
  • Safeguard company property, customer laundry, and payments collected.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and pass background checks.
  • Help with Laundry duties, as needed
  • Help wash and fold
  • some light cleaning/maintenance on the machine

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple deliveries and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
  • Experience:
  • Previous delivery driving experience required.
  • Experienced with large box trucks or delivery vans, ideally 2 years.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License (required).
  • Clean Driving Record (per company and insurance guidelines).
  • Clean Background Check.
  • Ability to Handle Physical Workload: Lift up to 75 lbs. frequently and repetitively.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Able to work weekends as needed.
  • Can communicate in Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Spanish is a Plus

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry laundry bags/containers weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle items throughout the day.
  • Work in various weather conditions when loading/unloading deliveries.

Job Details

  • Job Type: Part-time (with potential to extend to full-time)
  • Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
  • Shift: Day shift
  • Work Days: Primarily weekdays, with potential weekend shifts as the business grows

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week

Work Location: In person
