Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts across multiple territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through effective management of sales teams, developing new client relationships, and expanding market presence. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, technology solutions, and customer service excellence to meet and exceed company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate goals to increase revenue and market share.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners through effective account management.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, industry networking, and proactive outreach.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support sales initiatives.
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast performance, and analyze data for strategic planning.
- Provide regular reports on regional sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to executive leadership.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining company standards.
- Stay informed on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical and business development sales.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, and technology or technical product sales.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Expertise in business development, account management, and customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a strategic approach to closing deals.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, sales metrics, and customer insights for decision-making.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to inspire teams and foster collaborative relationships across departments.
