We are looking for an Administrator Assistant to make our company a premier work environment for our industry. This company is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. The perfect candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, and reliable.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Greet and assist with incoming clients and vendors
- Provide general support to visitors
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Maintain a filing system
- Knowledge of office systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Excellent Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, in particular)
- Experience with QuickBooks a plus
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Perform data entry quickly and efficiently
- as a second language a plus
Candidate needsthe controller.
You will be the first point of contact for HR-related issues from employees and external partners. Your main administrative duties include recruitment and hiring, employee retention, maintain employee records, benefit implementation, manage employee performance, DOT files, and payroll assistant.
Our ideal candidate has at least 1 years experience as an Administrative Assistance and AR experience in a manufacturing environment and can manage various administrative duties in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment and employee retention
- Organize and maintain personnel records and benefits
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
- Update internal databases (vacation records, attendance, disciplinary records)
- Prepare HR documents (HR policies, new hire agreements)
- Revise company policies
- Maintain DOT files
- Assure all labor laws are being followed
- Administer and maintain records for workers compensation, FMLA, EFMLA, and be well versed on current Covid related policies
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules) and be the back up for payroll
- Communicate regularly with employees on policies and safety as well as answer employees concerns about HR-related issues
Skills
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
- Computer literacy
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- Employee benefit administration
- Social media skills (Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, website maintenance)
- OSHA/Safety regulation knowledge in a manufacturing plant
- DOT/FMCSA knowledge a PLUS
Salary is based on experience
