As a Senior Accountant supporting efforts you will support the following areas:

Maintain the general ledger for Online schools in the state of OhioComplete required state reporting related to the school financialsWork with the Head of School as needed on accounting / reporting issuesAssist with accounting setup of new Online schoolsPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and propose any needed adjustmentsIdentify efficiencies in existing processes and propose solutionsAssist with putting additional controls and processes in placeRespond to financial related inquiries in a timely mannerProvide essential support during month-end close and the annual school auditsEngage in special projectsPerforms other duties as assignedAbout You

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field5+ Years of accounting experience

Experience Guidelines:

Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of and proficiency in an ERP systemHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with all levelsAbility to perform highly detailed work under tight deadlines and manage competing prioritiesDemonstrated history of problem solvingAbility to work both independently and within a team for a dynamic, growing companyOur Benefits:
