As a Security Officer - Entry Checkpoint in Milford, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment, while your communication skills will support positive interactions with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
• Verify identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering and exiting the location.
• Assist with implementing site-specific security-related procedures to help to maintain order and protect property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting individuals as needed.
• Document and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter and detect unusual activity, with working conditions subject to variation depending on the location.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
