Service Center Manager

Sea West CG Federal Credit Union ($400M in assets) has a job opening for a Service Center Manager at our Alameda branch on Coast Guard Island. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Branch Manager will oversee the day-to-day sales, service, and operations for the branch while developing, leading, and mentoring branch staff. This is a hands-on position that works directly with credit union members and staff to ensure exceptional delivery of financial services.
Job Responsibilities:
· Proactively plans, organizes, and directs branch operational activities.
· Oversees branch deposit and lending functions to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance with state and federal regulations and credit union policies and procedures.
· Ensures control of vault cash, teller drawers, ATM, and negotiable instruments.
· Monitors and maintains branch and systems security.
· Manages, trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff members.
· Prepares statistical and branch activity reports for senior management.
· Formulates recommendations for review by senior management concerning policies and services pertaining to the branch operation.
· Ensures branch image is favorable, reflecting a sound and secure financial institution and that members utilizing the branch receive exceptional service.
· Promotes a sales and service culture and the cross-selling of Credit Union products and services at every opportunity. Actively works with team to meet targeted production goals.
· Participates in membership development activities and represents the Credit Union at community events.
· Actively works toward meeting Credit Union strategic plan goals and encourages Credit Union growth.
· Handles special work assignments and administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
· Five (5) years related experience in a financial institution including supervisory or management experience. Credit Union experience a plus.
· Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to branch operations, e.g., Bank Secrecy Act.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn new software and assist others with the same.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members and staff on all levels.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Military experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95, $115,000.00 per year
