Director of Pharmacy – Oakland, CA

Position: Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Salary Range: $187,000–$210,000

Position Summary:
This position offers the opportunity to lead two established community health center pharmacies in California. The Director of Pharmacy oversees operations, compliance, and clinical collaboration while managing the 340B Program and serving as the PIC. The role combines strategic management with mentorship and direct patient impact.

Primary Duties:

  • Manage pharmacy operations at two locations
  • Serve as PIC for state and federal licensing
  • Lead the P&T Committee and oversee formulary development
  • Administer the 340B Program and ensure HRSA compliance
  • Hire, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff
  • Monitor medication storage, inventory, and purchasing
  • Support compliance audits and documentation

Participate in outreach and education initiatives

Requirements

  • PharmD or BPharm from an accredited institution
  • Active California Pharmacist license
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmacy practice (FQHC experience preferred)
  • 340B Program experience required; PIC experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Spanish-speaking preferred
