The Inside Sales/Customer Support Associate will support all aspects of the Montgomery Branch Operation. This person will need to be energetic and have diverse job skills to be able to help support customers and co-workers in sales, service, installation and environmental. This role will also assist in the coordination of projects between all departments.

JOB DUTIES

  • Professionally communicate with customer and supplier representatives to obtain data and resolve problems.
  • Researches and documents all information that may be required to complete a customer quotes.
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Obtains pricing for materials and components needed for the quotations.
  • Maintain the database of prospects of different organizations.
  • Coordinating with multiple departments for status on orders from relevant suppliers ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met.
  • Creating and delivery qualified leads to outside sales persons.
  • Establish & retain new customers in areas not currently served by Spatco. These areas include but are not limited to: Lubrication Equipment, Small Pumps, Parts, Meters, Small AST's, Compliance and Tank Cleaning Services.
  • This position will be responsible for ensuring SPATCO is placed on all City & County bid lists for projects and service work.
  • Help support Outside Sales, Service Team, Install Team and Inventory Coordinator doing whatever is necessary to help Spatco deliver great customer service.
  • This position will work in our sales and service platforms. You will be expected to be proficient in both after your onboarding period.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

  • Must respond well to fast paced, changing work assignments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior inside sales/customer service work required.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to report to work Monday through Friday in the branch. This is not a virtual position or hybrid.
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience required.
  • Prior SAP experience a plus
  • Valid Drivers License
