Pressed is growing and we are hiring a Senior Manager, SEO to drive organic visibility and revenue growth across our digital ecosystem — blending content strategy, local SEO, technical SEO, and AI search optimization to help shape how consumers discover Pressed.

This role is a key player in our growth engine, connecting creative storytelling with data-driven insights to strengthen our presence across search, local, and emerging AI platforms.

Job Purpose

The SEO Manager will report to the Director of Ecommerce and will be responsible for driving organic visibility and revenue growth across Pressed Juicery's digital ecosystem. This role blends content strategy, local SEO, technical SEO, and AI search optimization (AEO). Success will be measured not only by traffic growth but also by revenue attribution, keyword rankings, and inclusion in AI answers.

Responsibilities Include

AI/Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) & Content Strategy

• Develop and execute a content roadmap focused on high-value topics (e.g., juice cleanses, gut health, immunity).
• Optimize blog and content hubs with structured data, schema markup, and FAQs to increase AI/voice search visibility.
• Partner with the Content Marketing Manager to align storytelling and keyword strategy.

Local SEO

• Optimize Google Business Profiles and store location pages for "near me" and local intent searches.
• Build and execute strategies to improve local rankings, reviews, and CTRs across 100+ Pressed retail locations.
• Partner with Retail Operations to ensure accuracy across Apple Maps, Yelp, and other directories.

On-Site & Technical SEO

• Lead ongoing optimization of product and category pages focused on high-intent search terms.
• Manage site audits, technical fixes, and crawl optimizations to ensure strong indexation and site speed.
• Collaborate with the Technology Lead to refine site structure and navigation for SEO performance.

Reporting & Analytics

• Build SEO dashboards and performance reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Track keyword trends, competitive landscape, and inclusion in AI-generated search results.
• Translate SEO performance into clear business outcomes tied to traffic and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in eCommerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments.
• Hands-on expertise with leading SEO and analytics tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, GA4); experience with AEO or local SEO platforms a plus.
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify experience a plus).
• Strong communicator able to translate technical insights into executive-friendly recommendations.
• Creative, data-driven problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and scrappy environment.
• Passionate about wellness, health, and helping people feel their best.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting ideas to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Prior experience supporting a growing, omni-channel brand preferred.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3–4 days per week) in our Culver City office.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
