Sales & Customer Support Representative

Overview

A well-established organization in the industrial services space is seeking a
Sales & Customer Support Representative
to support internal sales teams and external clients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with speed and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls and electronic requests
  • Partner closely with internal sales teams to resolve order, pricing, delivery, and account inquiries
  • Process phone and electronic orders with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and update customer account information and order documentation
  • Interpret purchase orders, sales agreements, and order notes
  • Track orders through delivery and follow escalation procedures as needed
  • Control call flow, tone, and pace while maintaining professionalism
  • De-escalate and resolve challenging interactions
  • Communicate with vendors regarding order status, product availability, and freight details

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment
  • High attention to detail and strong multitasking ability
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • CRM/ERP system experience preferred (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar)

Education & Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of customer service, sales support, or contact center experience preferred
  • Spanish language skills a plus, but not required
