Position Overview:

The Compliance Support Administrator is responsible for ensuring program compliance with multi-family housing programs and requirements, training regulations and software. Responsible for ensuring properties are operating in accordance with regulations and standards and maximizing the effectiveness of affordable software systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of affordable software and products.
  • Resolve compliance software issues.
  • Responsible for all compliance helpdesk inquiries and resolutions, including but not limited to:

◦ Questions regarding multi-family housing program regulations.

◦ Questions regarding affordable company policies and procedures.

◦ Compliance software questions and issues.

◦ Housing Assistance Payment processing and reconciliation.

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining, and providing compliance training to others breaking down information in a systematic/logical manner.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining compliance resources.
  • Maintain relationships with regulatory personnel.
  • Assist with initiatives to improve the compliance performance of the portfolio.
  • Complete and submit, timely and accurately, all records, reports and documents required by the Company.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Must possess strong analytical, communication, administrative, research, and interpersonal skills.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated and progressive compliance experience with Yardi software products.
  • 2+ years of experience with compliance regulations for federal multi-family housing programs, such as but not limited to: Fair Housing, LIHTC, HUD Project Based Section 8, HUD Project Based and tenant vouchers.
  • 2+ years of progressive compliance experience with Housing Assistance Payment vouchering systems.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in standard information technology tools, including Office products.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state of residence.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work efficiently with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus.
