TITLE:
Senior Data Engineer and Analytics Delivery Manager

LOCATION:
Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

ANTICIPATED DURATION:
5 months

NOTE: I am not able to work on a C2C basis or provide a visa transfer/sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Lead analytics delivery management, including leading status calls, tracking progress across initiatives, and collaborating with senior business analysts.

• Manage project delivery using Atlassian Jira, including Kanban, Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Test Execution.

• Build and optimize scalable data models in Snowflake, including scripting, performance tuning, and container management.

• Develop dynamic SQL stored procedures to handle variable logic and parameters in Snowflake.

• Configure and maintain Snowpipe for continuous data ingestion and set up automated tasks within Snowflake.

• Automate data refreshes and maintenance of dynamic tables in Snowflake.

• Automate real-time or near-real-time data ingestion streams using Snowpipe.

• Use dynamic tables for data transformations and aggregations.

• Work with Python and SQL skills within data engineering projects.

• Participate in a hybrid work schedule, with three days on-site in Santa Monica, CA, and two days remote.

• Support a one-year contract with options to extend.

Requirements:

• Experience with project delivery management tools such as Atlassian Jira (Kanban, Epics, Stories, Tasks).

• Strong Snowflake skills, including working with containers, scripting, pipeline building, and performance tuning.

• Proficiency in SQL, including creating dynamic stored procedures in Snowflake.

• Experience configuring Snowpipe for continuous data ingestion and setting up automated tasks.

• Knowledge of Python within data engineering contexts.

• Ability to support hybrid work arrangements.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with real-time data streaming and dynamic table transformations.

• Prior work in a contract role with options to extend.

• Previous experience working in Santa Monica, CA, or similar environments.

• Experience managing multiple initiatives and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
