Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrols in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide assistance as needed. This is a driving post. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors within a healthcare environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons, to appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions to visitors as needed.Support Allied Universal management and client representatives by maintaining clear communication and thorough documentation of daily activities and incidents.Remain alert to changes in environment and conditions at the healthcare location, adapting security-related duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
