Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver PT in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and a caring presence. This is a driving post, so you will use company or client vehicles as part of your patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents promptly according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor flow as required by site policies.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Complete detailed and accurate daily activity and incident reports as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
