Director, Materials Management oversees the creation of booklet label products, booklet proofs, electronic label formats, booklet packaging plans, and the sourcing of these from the producing sites.  Perform any additional tasks needed to assist Contract Labeling and other departments with day-to-day operations and client needs.  Reports to the General Manager

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Packaging Engineering, Operations Management, or Procurement & Contract Management.
  • Ability to proofread printed material and check written documentation.
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and operational SOPs.
  • Advanced mathematical skills and grammatical knowledge.
  • Ability to work accurately and precisely.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Core responsibilities

  • Review of job requirements with Director of Pre-Project Planning.
  • Design and prepare booklet proofs according to job requirements.
  • Review all documentation prior to forwarding to QA for review/release.
  • Send proofs to customers once approved by QA.
  • Communicate with customers and update proofs according to requirements.
  • Submit final customer approved proofs to internal team(s) as needed.
  • Support communication internally and with production sites of design and production needs/expectations

Ideal Background for This Role

  • cGMP training.
  • Experience in clinical trials, pharmaceutical packaging, and regulatory compliance is also highly valuable.
