Overview:
Our Senior community is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for our residents in assisted living. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and contribute to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement activities that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents
Plan, organize, and supervise a variety of recreational activities, outings, and events
Coordinate with staff to ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs and interests of residents
Manage schedules and maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities
Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall resident experience
Communicate effectively with residents and staff
Requirements:
Must be dependable and friendly
Previous experience in Activities or Event Planning is a requirement. Previous experience with Seniors preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life
