805 Hospitality Group is seeking a passionate, service-driven Executive Sous Chef to help lead the opening team at Brokedown Palace, our newest concept launching this fall in Wayne, NJ. With two thriving restaurants and three additional locations in development across New Jersey, we are a growing hospitality group with a commitment to excellence and community engagement.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
• Lead and support the line during service with hands-on cooking and supervision
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Help train, mentor, and motivate the line cooks and prep team
• Contribute to seasonal menu planning and specials
• Assist in maintaining and organizing Walk-ins and dry storage

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook
• A team player with leadership ability and great communication skills
• Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and take direction
• Attention to detail is our highest priority. Following recipes and accurately hitting modifications is a must.
• Strong knowledge of classic American and tavern-style cuisine
• ServSafe certified (or willing to get certified)
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years old
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Brokedown Palace will be a high-energy, high-volume sports bar and restaurant open seven days a week.
