Are you passionate about helping others achieve success through life insurance sales? Farmers Insurance District 40 is seeking a knowledgeable and driven District Life Insurance Consultant to support agency owners and their teams across Michigan in building strong, sustainable life insurance operations.

In this role, you'll act as a coach, strategist, and mentor — equipping agencies with the tools, techniques, and confidence to grow their life business. You'll collaborate directly with agency principals and producers to implement effective sales processes, enhance client conversations, and ensure life insurance remains a cornerstone of every Farmers agency.

What You'll Do as a District Life Insurance Consultant

  • Partner with agency owners and their staff to increase life insurance sales and activity levels.

  • Provide coaching on prospecting strategies, sales conversations, and product placement.

  • Conduct in-office and virtual training sessions on Farmers life products, underwriting, and compliance.

  • Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement within agencies.

  • Collaborate with the District team to develop contests, incentives, and workshops to promote life sales.

  • Offer expert guidance on life policy design, client needs analysis, and advanced sales concepts.

  • Build lasting relationships that inspire consistent performance and growth across agencies.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a results-oriented professional with both the knowledge and passion to elevate others.

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in life insurance sales, training, or agency operations

  • Active Michigan Life Insurance License (required)

  • Proven track record of success in life insurance production or coaching

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to motivate and influence others through leadership and expertise

  • Organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple agency relationships
