This position offers the exciting opportunity to develop a broad skill set in property management, sales, and customer relations, all while contributing to the success of diverse residential communities.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a flexible leasing expert, covering multiple properties to managers and ensure seamless operations.
  • Greet prospective residents with enthusiasm, conduct property tours, and present leasing options that highlight community features and benefits.
  • Assist with lease applications, renewals and marketing tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant laws, and Section 8 program requirements during all leasing activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Support property maintenance coordination by assisting with unit inspections.
  • Upsell available amenities or lease options to maximize occupancy rates while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Collaborate with property management team on fostering positive resident relationships.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliant leasing practices.
  • Proficiency in AppFolio, or similar property management software for data entry, reporting, and tenant record keeping.
  • Experience in legal administrative procedures related to leases, contracts, and landlord-tenant law.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively and maintain positive relationships with residents and team members.
  • Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements and upselling opportunities that benefit both residents and the community.
  • Office experience including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and handling administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to unexpected situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $16.80 per hour
