Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join a busy OB/GYN team.

Duties:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories
  • Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation
  • Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record management
  • Conduct basic life support procedures when necessary
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to facilitate effective communication with patients and staff
  • Phlebotomy skills
  • Medical Scribing

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Knowledge of women's health medicine is a plus
  • Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient record management
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently
