Rochester, New York, United States Sportworks Global LLC Full time

Sportworks is seeking a visionary, customer-centric Product Manager to drive digital transformation. This high-impact role blends strategic product vision, business model innovation, market insight, and cross-functional execution. You'll work directly with the VP/GM of Digital & Growth to shape the future of digitally enabled value creation—turning ideas into real growth across SaaS, IoT, and data-driven platforms.

As part of an entrepreneurial team, you'll enjoy broad exposure, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to influence decisions at every level. This is a unique chance to build a repeatable playbook while shaping how modern software and data solutions deliver real-world impact.  You'll be part product strategist, part market analyst, part commercial enabler—championing solutions that improve customer outcomes, unlock new revenue streams, and scale with repeatable playbooks.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Product and Portfolio Vision

  • Define and evolve multi-year digital product strategy rooted in customer workflows and aligned with macro and micro trends.
  • Map emerging opportunities across core businesses, adjacencies, and new digital layers.
  • Build roadmaps that prioritize impact, sequence execution, and articulate a clear product narrative.

2. Business Model Design and Transformation

  • Create and test innovative business models.
  • Help transform legacy business lines by identifying and piloting new digital value propositions.
  • Translate GTM implications and financial impact into P&L-aligned business cases.

3. Customer-Centered Innovation and Market Assessment

  • Lead voice-of-customer and workflow discovery initiatives.
  • Size opportunities, assess competitive positioning, and develop businesses.
  • Explore where Sportworks' unique digital capabilities can deliver defensible customer value.

4. Execution Partnership and Revenue Enablement

  • Partner with engineering and operations to bring concepts to market efficiently and scalably.
  • Assist commercial teams in turning product into revenue, from pricing strategy and positioning to adoption planning and sales enablement.
  • Develop integrated GTM plans for new products or feature launches.

5. Culture and Playbook Leadership

  • Champion Sportworks' growth and digital culture by codifying best practices and creating reusable toolkits
  • Bring structure, insight, and energy to every product challenge.

 Leadership Characteristics and Cultural Alignment:

  • You lead with ownership and accountability. You take initiative, follow through, and act like an owner—whether guiding a roadmap, navigating ambiguity, or partnering across functions.
  • You are curious and take action. You ask sharp questions, explore market dynamics and customer workflows deeply, and turn insight into clear product direction and action.
  • You act with integrity and respect. You're humble, collaborative, and seek to build trust with teammates, customers, and partners through clear communication and follow-through.
  • You set a high bar. You bring high standards to your work—whether shaping product strategy, validating new models, or collaborating on go-to-market. You thrive in environments where clarity and impact matter.
  • You champion repeatability and learning. You codify what works into playbooks, templates, and frameworks others can use—helping us scale Silver Falls Way across the portfolio.
  • You think like a business builder. You understand how digital products impact the P&L and are energized by transforming customer workflows and value creation through digital solutions.
  • You collaborate confidently across disciplines. You work well with GMs, engineers, marketers, operators, and sellers — bridging strategy and execution with clarity and empathy.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments. You can balance structure and speed, detail and vision, planning and action.

 Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or computer science.
  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, strategy, or innovation roles with SaaS, IoT, or data-powered platforms.
  • Skills: Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office Suite; effective communication, and analytical skills.
  • Mindset: Adaptable, independent, and focused on market insights and customer value.
  • Data-driven decision-making abilities: Experienced in opportunity sizing, business casing, and MVP planning.

 Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Education: MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or related field, especially with a focus on strategy, innovation, or digital transformation.
  • Experience: Exposure in private investment or corporate innovation, especially in multi-company portfolio strategy or post-acquisition integration.
  • Proven track record: success in launching or scaling SaaS, IoT, or data-driven offerings with new revenue mechanics.

 Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Being physically present and available at our Monroe location
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Combination of office and factory work environments
