About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist (Product), you'll partner with product and engineering leaders in shaping the strategy for Atlas.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how Atlas users interact with our products
  • Develop data pipelines that convert noisy core datasets into powerful signals of user behavior
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
  • Design and implement dashboards and reports that track key business metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Design, plan, execute and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes.
  • Mentor others as needed to uplift the team's capacity, and to democratize data knowledge and data insights within the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional Data Science experience with a strong technological aptitude.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on fast-paced, impactful work.
  • Proven to effectively collaborate across variety of technical and non-technical functions to drive towards common product goals
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis geared towards drawing actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Experience with data querying languages and scripting languages (e.g. Python)
  • Previous experience mentoring, such as new-hire buddies, interns, or technical leads.
  • Interest in contributing to the company's growth beyond daily responsibilities.
