Bright Stars is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working teacher to join our team We are a community-based center that focuses on giving our children a home away from home. We rely on teacher communication, collaboration, and positive attitudes to care for our little ones Key aspects of employment at Bright Stars include flexibility with schedules, promptness, and the ability to work your shift consistently Teamwork is a must, and loving what you do is the most important
Qualifications: Stars training, CPR Certified, Portable Background check, Food Handler's card.
What you'll do
- Design and implement innovative curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management techniques.
- Engage children in literacy education through storytelling, interactive reading sessions, and creative activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Lead physical education activities that promote health, coordination, and teamwork among students.
- Clean, maintain and organize your classroom.
- Duties may include help in the kitchen.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Experience in behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to foster holistic growth in young learners.
