We are not your average childcare. Here is why Spokane Falls Montessori is different:

· We close for most holidays as well as for Spring Break and Winter Break

· Access to full scholarships (up to $9000 per year) for ECE courses and degrees, including a BA (with minimum hours worked and as funds are available)

What we will ask of you:

· No experience in Montessori? Not a problem We will train the right person. We will even pay for your Montessori teaching certificate if you are interested (conditions apply)

· Submit and pass a background check through MERIT upon submitting a resume

· Complete other DCYF requirements within a timely manner

· Be 18 years of age or older

· Be reliable

· Be able to lift up to 40 pounds

· Be able to get up and down from the floor, and sit on the floor for extended periods

· Be kind, caring, consistent, and compassionate

Overview:

·We are looking for candidates that have availability between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm but, as a sub, you set your own hours and tell us your reference (full time, part time, etc.). This would be in any one of our three classrooms (infant, toddler, or preschool). Your age preference will be taken into consideration.

· Meet all Assistant Teacher requirements in DCYF

· We are currently full in all our classrooms and cannot offer childcare at this time. If an opening becomes available, we may be able to enroll your child at that time for a discounted amount (conditions apply) if you cannot qualify for state subsidy. As an employee, your child(ren) will be at the top of our waitlist.
