Manufacturing Lead Operator - 3rd Shift

Position Overview
The
Manufacturing Lead Operator
oversees production workflows and ensures quality finished products. This role includes training and assisting associates, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety while collaborating with supervisors to optimize operations.

Schedule
3rd Shift, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 pm to 6:30 am

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and guide workers on equipment operation, material handling, and quality checks.
  • Read blueprints to ensure accurate product assembly.
  • Perform quality checks and enter data into ERP systems.
  • Operate forklifts and assist with machine setup and maintenance.
  • Enforce safety regulations to minimize risks.
  • Inspect raw materials for quality.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other departments.
  • Serve as a point of contact for production personnel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience (heavy machinery preferred).
  • 2 years forklift experience.
  • 1 years of lead experience in manufacturing.
  • Basic ERP data entry skills.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 65 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Able to operate forklifts and machinery safely.

Work Conditions

  • Warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations.
