Job Summary

We are seeking state of NH licensed nail technicians, estheticians and cosmetologists to work in our very busy, luxury nail salon. Providing manicures and pedicures is a must and will account for a bulk of your income. Passionate skin care specialists will find success in our skin rooms providing facials, body + facial waxing, lash lifting, brow laminations + tinting. Full transparency we are a nail salon first and you must provide nail services to be on the payroll.

Our beautiful salons in Portsmouth are booked 97% of the time- Staff members are fully booked, making a substantial income to support their families. Our desk is managed 9-5 daily, coordinating busy schedules, eliminating stress and providing support during shifts.

All employees must work one weekend day and one evening weekday shift as part of their regular schedule, after satisfying this requirement you are encouraged to work a schedule that suits your needs. (Saturdays 9am-3pm or Sundays 10am-4pm and week days evenings are open until 7pm)

Generally people with no experience earn $21/hour after training, commissioned employees earn up to $40/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Manicures and Pedicures, including gel polish- no acrylic or dip.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
  • Educate clients on proper skin/nail care routines and product usage to enhance their overall experience.
  • Upsell additional services and retail products to clients based on their individual needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide informed recommendations.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.

Experience

  • Licensed (or is in the process of becoming licensed) as a NH nail technician, cosmetologist or esthetician.

Compensation

  • Guaranteed wages: New hires with little or no experience are paid hourly plus tips, increases of $1/hour raises are given quarterly with reviews. Test out opportunities are available up to 45% commission for more experienced candidates after completing practical interview.
  • Generally people with no experience earn $20/hour after training, commission totals are closer to $40/hour.
