We maintain key quality and security certifications including ISO9001, ISO14001 CTPAT and ISO14298.About the RoleThe Business Development Executive (BDE) is a seasoned, motivated "hunter" with a proven track record of winning new customers and growing existing key accounts. This is an opportunity to join a growing, private-equity backed business and play a central role in its continued growth, and to make significant contributions to the strategic business plan, sales strategies, and marketing strategies for specific market verticals and large accounts.This role owns the entire sales process from lead generation through close and will have experience selling label printing solutions; the ideal candidate will have experience selling security applications (e.g. holograms, security tapes, mechanical security seals).This role covers a territory in the Northeast including Philadelphia, PA and neighboring states (exact territory design to be finalized). This is a remote role with limited travel to clients as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesNew customer acquisition: Lead the end-to-end sales process from lead generation through closed / won, including:Prospect and develop new customer leads, and pursue leads assigned by NovaVision's managementUse multiple channels where appropriate, e.g., phone (including cold calling), e-mail, and in-person visitsCoordinate with NovaVision's technical product experts and leadership to develop solutions for prospective clientsDevelop a new account business plan, incorporating items such as current trends, competition, application of products in various markets, and suggested marketing programs to the Sales ManagerGrow existing accounts: grow assigned accounts through a sound understanding of the customer's needs, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsellProvide basic customer service where neededConduct site visits with clients in-person when appropriate and necessaryDevelop a working knowledge of all NovaVision's products and production capabilitiesOther:Provide Sales Management with regular updates, suggestions for marketing programs, and applications of products in various marketsMaintain CRM with up-to-date records for prospective and existing accountsExecute other projects or responsibilities assigned by managementQualificationsProven ability to win large, new customers (annual value >$250k) and grow existing accounts with a track record of meeting/exceeding annual sales goalsExperience selling labeling solutions to large corporate customers, ideally including security applications (e.g., holograms, security tapes, mechanical security seals)10+ years of overall sales experienceDemonstrated success leading the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to solution development and contract negotiationsExperience selling in one or more of NovaVision's target industry verticals: pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, electronics, governments, transportation / logistics, and cannabisExperience selling to key decision-makers for NovaVision's products, e.g., Operations Leaders and Heads of Product SecurityEntrepreneurial attitude and ability to be a team player on all levelsAbility to make meaningful contributions to (i) developing a business plan, including sales and marketing strategies and (ii) to sales and budget forecastsExcellent oral and written communication skillsLocationWork effectively remotelyIdeally located on the East Coast, ranging from the Northeast down to the Carolinas (other location considered on a case-by-case basis)Travel to customers, trade shows, etc. as need to achieve sales goalsPeriodically travel to NovaVision's headquarters in Bowling Green, OH and/or other manufacturing facilities, currently in Winston Salem, NC; Atlanta, GA; and Hudson, WI.Additional InformationCompetitive base salary and significant bonus potential tied to performancePTO & Paid Company HolidaysHealth, Dental, Vision, Life insurance options401k matching
