Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly close tax account analysis and reconciliations.

  • Assist in the preparation of US and Canadian Sales and Use Tax Returns.

  • Assist with filing and reconciling business personal property returns and value notices.

  • Research and reconciliation of outstanding unclaimed property.

  • Specific research to resolve customer and dealer indirect tax questions.

  • Support projects related to indirect tax function as assigned by manager.

  • Participate in required intern events

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Efficient with computer technology.

  • Academic knowledge of tax, accounting or a related field.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Skills

  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to learn and use new technology.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Good written and oral communication skills. 

Experience

  • Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Accounting or a related field.
