Position Summary
We're seeking a full-time Apparel Quality Assurance Specialist (official title: Intermediate Quality Inspector) for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. This role will conduct quality inspections on apparel and non apparel goods such as accessories, cosmetics, and electronics.
Job Responsibilities
- QC Task Execution: Oversee and perform assigned quality control inspections, ensuring inspection accuracy and accountability for results to meet key business performance targets
- Localized Quality Assurance: Execute inspection activities based on local operational requirements, ensuring appropriate inspection coverage, on-time completion, and high defect detection accuracy
- Standards Implementation & Continuous Improvement: Ensure effective implementation of established QC standards; proactively identify gaps during execution and provide recommendations to enhance and refine standards
- Process & Efficiency Optimization: Analyze workflows and inspection procedures, streamline inspection checkpoints, and drive continuous process improvements to maximize efficiency and throughput
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Operations, and other local teams to ensure seamless integration of QC activities into overall business operations
- Issue Identification & Resolution: Investigate and resolve quality-related anomalies or exceptions in a timely and effective manner to maintain smooth business operations.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in quality control, inspection, or quality assurance, with demonstrated ability to independently manage end-to-end QC processes
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Candidates with an Associate's degree may be considered with equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of QC methodologies and inspection standards across multiple product categories
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with stakeholders
- High self-motivation and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team player mentality and adaptable personality
